About the artwork
This abstract, almost monochrome green work is an informal painting in mixed media in large landscape format, made with textural and different materials, such as ash, rust and green pigments, as well as slate pigments applied in many layers on top of each other and very watery. This creates a very tactile surface. The picture is part of the “green Bearer of hope series”, painting title “Bearer of hope No. 4 “, because the color green has a calming effect and stands for hope.
The painting is framed in a narrow black metal frame. The painting can be easily hung on the wall with two screws / dowels.
