About the artwork
This abstract work is an informal painting in mixed media, made with structuring and different materials, such as ash, rust and pigments, which lie on top of each other in many layers and are applied in a very watery manner. This creates a very tactile surface. The picture is part of the “green bearer of hope series”, picture title “Bearer of hope No. 3”, because the color green has a calming effect and stands for hope.
The painting is framed in a black metal frame that surrounds the picture like a shell. The picture can be easily hung on the wall with two screws/dowels.
