About the artwork
The artwork “Peace of mind” is a classic mixedmedia artwork made of ash, rust, rock flours, charcoal and pigments, with paper on a gesso board. It is a very quiet, yet powerful informal work, which means that the material used and the unclassified forms are in the foreground and make up the pictorial effect. The title of the work “Peace of Mind” refers to the bright friendly effect created by the interplay of white, cream and turquoise pigments. It gets its excitement from the small patches of rust pigment and soot, as well as from the texture overall. Framed is the painting in a white wooden frame, which emphasizes the noble effect of the painting.
The picture can easily be hung on the wall with two screws / dowels and then lies against the wall.
