About the artwork
The painting is an abstract acrylic painting on canvas in a larger square format (120x120x4cm) predominantly in shades of blue with some red, orange and neon pink peeking through. I applied the highly pigmented colors sometimes densely, sometimes translucently, so that the painting has a very great pictorial depth. What is happening in the picture reminds me of diving, somewhere in the water below, but at the same time of crossing borders, pulsating energy, going away and enjoying life to the full. The chosen title refers more to the water aspect.
The work is framed in a white wooden floating frame.
