About the artwork
This abstract work is an informal painting in mixedmedia technique, made with structuring and different materials, for example rock powders such as marble powder and slate powder, but also ash and pigments, which are applied in many layers, sometimes very watery, sometimes pasty with a brush or spatula. This creates a very tactile surface and material density overall. The title “Clarification” refers to the colors and the strong contrast in the painting. The bright white at the top right-hand edge of the artwork really shines and looks forward-looking. As if everything is clearing up.
The painting is framed in a white wooden frame.
It can be easily hung on the wall with two screws/plugs.
