About the artwork
The artwork “Bearer of hope No. 1” is a classic mixed media made from ash, green pigments, charcoal and rust on a gessoboard (wood). It is a very powerful informal work, which means that the material used and the unclassified form are in the foreground and create the paintings effect. The title of the work refers to the green color in the artwork, because green is always a color of hope and confidence and also of calm.
The abstract painting can easily be hung on the wall using two screws/dowels and then rests against the wall. The painting is framed in a narrow black metal frame that a blacksmith from near Munich made for me. Alternatively, a white wooden frame is also available.
