About the work
The work is a collage of fine Chinese paper, which I colored in advance with coffee, white pigments and ink. After drying, I tore up these papers again and rearranged them in many layers to create the finished picture. The painting is part of a couple. I chose the title “Arrived” because I like the calm and stability that both collages radiate. Nevertheless, both works are exciting and expressive in themselves. And that’s how it should be when you’ve arrived: peace and stability paired with excitement.
