About the artwork
The collage “Yippie No. 9” is made of Chinese paper on wood. I first colored the paper myself and chose orange tones from light to really rich in combination with darker green and eggplant tones. After drying, I tear the pieces of paper that I like into pieces. Then I arrange them on the canvas and create a new composition. The title “Yippie” refers to the positive energy that the painting conveys. It has a lively and very positive effect on the viewer.
The painting is part of the “Yippie” series, is framed in white and can easily be hung on the wall with two dowels/screws.
