About the artwork
The collage “Yippie No. 3” is made of China paper on canvas, in large landscape format. I first colored the paper myself and chose bright and friendly colors such as orange, purple and green in combination with white pigments. After drying, I tear the pieces of paper into pieces that I like. Then I arrange them on the canvas and create a new composition. The title “Yippie” refers to the positive energy that the painting conveys. It has a lively and very positive effect on the viewer.
The painting is part of the “Yippie” series, is framed in white and can easily be hung on the wall with two dowels/screws.
