About the artwork
This abstract work is an informal painting in mixed-media technique, made from different materials, for example rock powders such as marble powder and slate powder, but also ash as well as blue and white pigments, which are applied in many, mostly very watery layers. When you look at the painting, you literally sink into the depth and color and can hardly take your eyes off it. It has a very calming effect on the viewer. Hence the title “Meditation”.
The painting is framed in a white wooden frame. The painting can be easily hung on the wall with two screws / dowels.
