About the artwork
This abstract work is an informal painting in mixed-media technique, made from different materials, for example rock flour such as marble powder and slate powder, but also ash, rust and blue and white pigments, which are applied in many, mostly very watery layers. The composition has an energetic effect. This impression is reinforced by the black gestural lines. Something is in motion, at least that is the impression the viewer gets. This leads to the title “Making plans”.
The painting is framed in a white wooden frame. The painting can be easily hung on the wall with two screws / dowels.
