About the artwork

This abstract work is an informal painting in mixed media technique, made with structuring and different materials, such as stone powder, marble powder and slate powder, but also ash, rust and pigments, which are applied in many layers, sometimes very watery, sometimes pasty with a brush or spatula. This creates a very tactile surface and material density overall. The painting has an enormous tension, which is achieved firstly by the way the paint is applied and secondly by the gestural black lines. It looks as if everything is moving in one direction. The blue color is reminiscent of water. Hence the title of the painting “In flow”, it is moving forward, in one direction, everything seems somehow possible … .
The painting is framed in a white wooden frame.
It can be easily hung on the wall with two screws/plugs.

Book a trial hanging!

Buying a painting is an exciting thing, because a work of art should a) please and delight anew every day, b) fit into your own living ambience and contribute to a feel-good atmosphere and c) ideally be an investment, or “worth its price”.

A trial hanging gives you peace of mind, because you can see straight away whether you really like the painting you have seen at an exhibition, in a studio, on the Internet or in a shop window. Does the size fit? Does the color match? Does it suit you?

Gain security!

Contact me and book a non-binding appointment for a trial hanging. You can be sure that I have no interest in selling a painting to customers who are not happy with it!
