About the artwork
This abstract, almost monochrome work is an informal painting in mixedmedia technique, made with structuring and different materials, such as ash, slate powder and pigments, which are applied in many layers, sometimes very watery, sometimes pasty with a brush or spatula. This creates a very tactile surface and material density overall. The title “Tagausklang” (end of the day) refers to the colors. When you look at the painting, you immediately feel like having a glass of red wine and think of evening or evening mood.
The painting is framed in a black wooden frame. The painting can be easily hung on the wall with two screws / dowels.
