About the artwork

The very large collage “Easy No. 2” in portrait format is made from Chinese paper on canvas. I first colored the paper myself and chose shades of pink, eggplant, orange and green. After drying, I tear the paperfragments that I like into pieces. Then I arrange them on the canvas and create a new composition.
As the name suggests, the “Easys” series seems very light. Everything should fly and harmonize with each other. Each individual element or surface can be different and stand for itself. It is important to me to show plurality or diversity. Everything is allowed to be! The beauty of the whole lies in the differences. Accepting the differences leads to more lightness.
The painting is the first picture from the “Easy” series, is framed in white and can easily be hung on the wall with two dowels/screws.
