Explanation about the “Bearer of hope” series – video with english subtitles
About the artwork
This abstract work is an informal painting in mixed media, made with textural and different materials, such as ash, rust and pigments applied very watery in many layers on top of each other. This creates a very tactile surface. The painting is part of the “green bearer of hope series”, title “Hoffnungsträger Nr. 5” (bearer of hope no. 5), because the color green has a calming effect and stands for hope.
Framed is the painting in a black metal frame, that a smith close by made it for me. The painting can be easily hung on the wall with two screws / dowels.
